On their Starbucks Stories Asia post, the coffee giant announced on July 20 that they are releasing the collection across the Asia Pacific.
“This summer, Starbucks will unite with phenomenal K-pop Girl Group BLACKPINK to unleash a new experience set to excite the legions of BLINKs across the Asia Pacific region.”
This much-awaited merchandise of two global favorites features a limited edition drink, 11 drinkware selections, and six lifestyle items inspired by the “bright and bold style” of BLACKPINK that you can take anywhere.
“BLACKPINK is synonymous with an authenticity that is bold and confident, making them an inspiring force that transcends geographies and cultures. We are so thrilled to partner with one of the biggest icons of this generation that aligns with our focus on uplifting customers and fans alike through human connection to create an unforgettable Starbucks Experience,” said Emmy Kan, senior vice president and president of Starbucks Asia Pacific.

BLACKPINK Starbucks Drink
Starting July 25, you can enjoy the exclusive, first-ever collaboration for the region with the headliner drink, BLACKPINK Strawberry Choco Cream Frappucino.
This black and pink drink presents the KPop sensation’s edgy and bold vibe in their latest album, “Born Pink,” which is a combination of strawberry syrup, dark chocolate sauce, feel-good oat milk, sprinkled with chocolate curls, topped with light pink whipped cream, and cute heart-shaped chocolate to seal the deal.
You can get this BLACKPINK Drink for P475, which comes with a grande-size limited edition pink reusable cup (with lid and straw) you may keep for future use.
How’s the taste?
If this is what Pink Venom tastes like, I’d gladly take it. It tastes like a taffy strawberry drink (somehow reminds me of the candy Monami and Meiji Apollo) and has that candy sweetness without overpowering the whole drink.
Admittedly, I’d want another drink myself without the reusable cup, but it’s unavailable. You will need to buy another one with a reusable cup. For those who don’t like sweets, you can give this drink a try.
