PSA: Here’s The BGC Bus Holiday Schedule For Commuters
If you’re traveling to BGC this Christmas season, here’s the updated BGC Bus holiday schedule.
Many activities and establishments are lined up in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) that makes it an enticing place for leisure, aside from being a business district.
But let’s admit it: It’s hard to commute to BGC if you’re not traveling using a private vehicle, taxi, or ride-hailing service. For commuters like me, the best option to go around BGC is the BGC Bus.
If you’re traveling to BGC this Christmas season, here’s the updated BGC Bus holiday schedule.
For those using its East Express Route at EDSA Ayala and Market! Market! Terminals, operating hours of the BGC Bus are now extended to 1 AM on weekdays and to 12 AM on weekends, including public holidays.
BGC Bus has several routes in Makati, Bonifacio Global City, and Taguig. Here are the routes:
- East Express
- North Express
- West Route
Since July 2023, some routes have been discontinued by BGC Bus. This includes the Central and Arca South, based on its terminal at EDSA Ayala bus station.
BGC Bus Holiday Extended Operating Hours
If you’re commuting to BGC, regardless if you’re from North or South Metro Manila, you may want to go to their terminal at EDSA cor. McKinley Hill Road.
Where is the BGC Bus Terminal in EDSA?
The EDSA Ayala Terminal is just a walking distance from MRT-3 Ayala Station. You just need to exit at the McKinley Hill side. Meanwhile, you can also take One Ayala, you only need to take the overpass in EDSA Ayala and McKinley Hill intersection.

Regular operating hours of BGC Bus end by 9 PM and 11 PM depending on the route prior to the holiday season. Departure hours, however, are not specified until now so you would need to consider this when commuting to BGC too.
How to pay fare on BGC Bus
You can pay your base fare of 15 PHP typically via Beep card when you board the vehicle. Pay in cash at the terminals to get a physical ticket from the terminals in case you don’t have a Beep card. You may also use the card on MRT-3 and LRT-1, LRT-2 trains, and other E-Jeeps in the metro. But in October, you may also now pay your fares via GCash QR code.
