Are you ready for the Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival 2023? Here’s everything you need to know! 

This year, Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival (MAFF 2023) is coming back to celebrate music performances and the arts over delicious food. 

The whole-day event is happening on December 2 (Saturday) from 9 AM to 12 MD. Admission is FREE! 

A portion of the Maginhawa will be closed (Street from Uncle John’s to Bayantel) to accommodate the festival.

The thriving community at Maginhawa has been the home of many students, artists, and music lovers in the Northern part of Metro Manila. After all, it’s just around schools such as the University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University.

Musical Performances

First and foremost, OPM acts are joining the fray to showcase their musical prowess and entice the guests with a variety of performances.

Aside from these, there are also several competitions like Drum & Lyre, QC Got Talent, and Christmas Carol among the activities.

Foodie Haven

If you’re attending the MAFF 2023, come in hungry because there will be over 100 food merchants and concessionaires attending the festival. You won’t run out of food options in case your companions ask “Saan tayo kakain?”

Maginhawa is no stranger for unique food offerings. I must say it’s like a melting pot of flavors in the North. It’s also one of the places where homegrown restaurants thrive.

Just like its name, MAFF 2023 is also celebrating the artist community in Maginhawa. Over 100 non-food merchants are also attending which includes arts, books, tattoos, and many more.

Zumba 

Start the day right with stretches and warmups. At 9 AM, you can join Anytime Fitness Maginhawa to dance for an hour with their Zumba session at the event.

Dragdagulan

In its fourth installment in 2023, Dragdagulan comes back with a Christmas twist. The search for Ms. Dragdagulan Reyna ng Pasko is on! 

The queens are showcasing an entertaining show and to jingle bell rock the festival night! So buckle up and catch it on MAFF 2023.

Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival Traffic Advisory

If you’re going to the event, check out this traffic advisory from the QC Government so you’re aware which streets are closed, one-way only, and more. Note that this advisory is effective from December 1-3, 2023. 

Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival 2023 is organized by the Maginhawa Food Community Inc., Quezon City Government, and JCI Quezon City Capitol. The festival is co-presented by Councilor Irene Belmonte, Atty. Vincent Belmonte, Nickel Asia Corporation, and klikit. This is the third MAFF since its conception in 2014.
